3 Cheshvan, 5782
Shalom and hello everyone! I hope you are doing well.

Chodesh Tov to you!

Today is Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan and the first day of the Hebrew month.

Join us this shabbos for great davening, learning, and delicious food.

Thank you distinguished member Rebecca Frankel, CEO, Orange Therapeutics Inc, for generously sponsoring this week’s super gala kiddush!

The kiddush is in honor of the yahrtzeit of the Rizhiner Rebbe, on shabbos day itself. May the neshama of the holy Rav Yisroel ben Rav Sholom Shachna, z"l, have a big aliyah in Gan Eden. Amen!

Rebecca looks forward to greeting you personally on Shabbos morning.
We welcome guest Darshan this shabbos, member Yaakov Weiland, MSW, to deliver this week’s sermon, and guest Daf Yomi presenter, member Saul Lubetski, Vice Chairman, Harbor Group International, to teach the last page in mesechta Beitza! Join both of them.
Mazel Tov to Leon and Simi Melohn upon the Bar Mitzvah of their delightful son, Moshe

Leon (a supporter of OS) and Moshe, are dear friends of mine (and classmate of my Shlomo) and we wish the entire family mazel and nachas for 120 happy and healthy years! Amen.

We are finishing Mesechta Beitza this shabbos and starting Mesechta Rosh Hashana this Sunday at 7:45 AM.

Please join us! We are always excited to welcome new participants and look forward to YOU becoming part of our special daf yomi chaburah.

Please ponder the following: after 120 years, we will be asked,

“Why didn’t you join the Daf Yomi shiur….conveniently offered in your own shul and neighborhood?”

Will the Heavenly Court quiz us on mesechtos we were expected to study?!

Now is the time to start studying Gemara! At least commit to Rosh Hashana, a small Tractate. You can always decide later if you wish to continue on to the next Tractate.

I’ll see you at the shiur. Free gemaras for all.
Have a wonderful shabbos!

Join the daf this Sunday morning at 7:45 AM - no excuses!
