Clinic Reminders

  • Thanks to all families who have sent action plans for their child's allergy or asthma. If your student has asthma, an allergy that requires an EpiPen/ Auvi-Q, or a chronic medical condition that requires an action plan, please send the required action plan paperwork to the clinic. This is necessary in the event of an emergency. Click here for these forms.
  • The clinic is not allowed to provide over-the-counter medication, such as Tylenol or Advil. Your student can bring a travel-size container of these particular over-the-counter medications and keep them in his/her backpack. The medication must be in the original packaging with the correct label.

Scholarship Research

Did you know that you don’t have to wait until senior year to apply for scholarships? Scholarships are a great way to pay for college, and starting the research process early provides families with more opportunities to receive multiple scholarship offers.

Case Studies Workshop for Juniors

The Counseling office is excited to offer a college case studies workshop. Students and parents will review student applications and decide whether or not a student should receive admission to a specific university. Students and parents will be split up into small groups and will participate in a mock admissions committee meeting with college admissions people. This exercise helps students and parents understand what goes on behind the scenes in the application review process.

When: September 12, 2024

7-8:30 p.m.

Where: Young Center

All junior parents and students are invited to this event. To attend, you must RSVP by TODAY, September 9, 2024.

Is your student struggling with a subject or needing help understanding a tricky concept in class? For students seeking peer tutoring, the National Honor Society offers free student-to-student tutoring for most subjects/courses. Interested students should complete the form linked below to request a tutor. Once the form is submitted and the request has been processed, students will receive an e-mail from their tutor to determine when/where to meet and what materials need to be reviewed or explained. We hope students will take advantage of this service, which remains available throughout the academic year!
