In the fall, we adjusted how exams were administered by having classroom teachers proctor their own exams in their own classrooms. The student and teacher response to this change was overwhelmingly positive. We will administer Senior exams this way in the spring as well in order to provide the best testing experience for our students. Facilitating this change requires some adjustments to our school schedule during the week of April 28th, however.
For three days (April 29th through May 1st), Tampa Catholic High School will adopt a modified block schedule. This exciting opportunity will allow our senior teachers to administer their own exams in their own classrooms and underclass teachers and students to experience the benefits of a block schedule, including extended class time for labs and other hands-on learning experiences. Underclass students will have the same amount of instructional time in each class period as they do in a typical week; the time will be spread out differently.
Please note the following calendar changes that impact SENIOR EXAMS and our SCHOOL-WIDE SCHEDULE during the week of April 28th. These changes should be reflected in our school calendar found online as well. More information about Senior exams will be published in the coming weeks.

| | | Congratulations to the 2025-2026 Crusaderette Dance Team! Members are Ashton, Presli, Sloan, Amy, Caitlyn, Gracie, Sophia, Angelina, Amber, Isabella, Delilah, Juliana, Lauren (Captain), Sophie (Captain) and Cate (Co-Captain). Not pictured are Londyn and Cali. | | In freshman Theology class, students were assigned varying Biblical moments from the New Testament and challenged to evangelize others through artistic creations of those assigned events. The class of 2028 handles business! | | Did you know that faith and hope are 2 of the 3 “theological virtues”? The 3rd is love. These gifts from God are the source from which every other virtue flows. Sometimes we recognize that we are lacking in patience when dealing with loved ones. Kindness extended through patience certainly falls under the umbrella of love. Other times we realize at the end of the day, we haven’t slowed down enough to pray even once. This would flow from our need to dive into the current of faith. On occasion we operate with a cloud of gloom, lacking joy. It is then that hope would thwart that negativity. Seek the theological virtues from our Lord and be abundantly blessed by His out-pouring of generosity! | | |
