Reminders & Announcements

Alumni Memorial Mass

The Church has a wonderful custom of setting aside November as a special time for prayerfully remembering our deceased loved ones. We believe it is especially appropriate to remember them during the Eucharist, which is a sign of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

We invite you to join us for this year's Alumni Memorial Mass that will be held on Monday, November 4 at 6:00pm, on campus in the Blessed Edmund Rice Chapel.

We look forward to celebrating the loved ones and esteemed members of the TC community who have touched the lives of so many.

Note: We know that this Mass is part of the fabric of our school, and not everyone is able to attend that evening. We will record Mass, and will upload it for viewing to our school's YouTube page a few days following the event.

Baby Shower donations will be accepted till November 8th in students' homeroom classes. Please see the flyer above for more information.

Please reach out to Mrs. Davidson with questions.

Veterans Day

Show your support for veterans this Veterans Day! The TC Stars and Stripes Club invites students to participate in Red, White, and Blue Dress Out Day on Monday, November 11. With a $5 donation by Friday, November 8, students can dress out to honor those who have served. All proceeds will benefit a military charity, which provides essential services like employment, housing, and healthcare for veterans and their families.

Make your donation here and join us in making a difference!

Mission Trip to Peru

We're thrilled to offer a mission trip to Peru, where students can live out the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice by serving others. Participants will assist in building a home for a family, experience Peruvian culture, and visit the iconic Machu Picchu. This unique adventure costs approximately $3,000, covering airfare, lodging, meals, supplies, and excursions.

Spots are limited, and commitments are needed by December 1. An informational meeting will be held on Nov. 4 at 6 pm in the Center Building, Room 114. Trip Dates: May 31 - June 10.

For more information or questions please feel free to reach out to our Campus Minister, Mr. Ryan Mulligan.

Camp Street Lights

Join us for Camp Street Lights, an overnight homelessness solidarity event, from 6 pm on Nov. 22 to 6 am on Nov. 23 at Hillsborough County Children's Services (3191 Clay Mangum Ln., Tampa 33618). We’ll learn from local leaders about support for homeless teens in Tampa. Participants are asked to bring a canned food donation, a signed liability form, and a $10 fee, which will support Tampa Hope and Feeding Tampa Bay.

Please email Mrs. Masters ASAP for

more information or to reserve your spot.

Fall Theatre Production

Join Tampa Catholic High School Theater as they present a heartwarming adaptation of the beloved classic Little Women for their Fall play! Adapted by Marisha Chamberlain and directed by Joyce Mayhew, this timeless tale follows the March sisters as they navigate the joys and challenges of growing up during the Civil War. Prepare to be inspired by their dreams, laughter, and unbreakable sisterly bonds in this touching and uplifting production! The show will play from Nov 13-15th. Purchase your tickets below.

Around TC

Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating Grandparents Day with our freshmen and junior students! It was a heartwarming morning filled with smiles, as grandparents joined us for a special Mass and a delightful reception that followed. We are grateful to have shared this meaningful time with the beloved family members who support our Crusaders.

Special thanks to Larry Schinsky, GP '20 & '22, for sharing his meaningful message on the importance of a Catholic eduation at the conclusion of our Mass. We are grateful for his inspiring words and the joy he brings to our Tampa Catholic community. Thank you, Mr. Schinsky, for reminding us of the lasting impact of faith and family.

On Saturday, thirteen Tampa Catholic theater students shined at the District 9 Individual Events Competition, competing against 1,100 peers. Our students earned 8 Superior and 7 Excellent ratings, with perfect scores awarded to Finn Brown ("Maria" from West Side Story), Alexa Gould (costume from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), and Julia Bisesi & Finn Brown (duet from The Addams Family). Three events were named District Rep finalists, and four earned 'Top Honors'—the highest score in each category. Congratulations to all our talented Crusaders!

Congratulations to our boys golf team as they have advanced to play in the regional tournament next week at the Eagles!

Miss VanFleet’s Biology Honors class took learning outdoors this week for a hands-on exploration of osmosis! Students observed how water moves in and out of cells, making science come alive under the open sky.

Throughout the month of November our school community will be focused on the theme of “Leadership”. The dictionary definition for this term is simply the action of leading a group of people or an organization. Through the lens of our Catholic faith, this definition is lacking in regard to the weight of responsibility for any good leader. We prefer a pregnant explanation that recognizes there is much more to this understand beyond the superficial glance. Christian implications to this term must be perpetually wed in order that the coming of the Kingdom of God be the fruit of all leadership. And so this month, let us look at what Christ-centered leadership looks like in various areas of our pilgrim journey toward Heaven. No better place to start than with Jesus.

Be sure to keep up with all things Crusader!
