Coming Together in Faith: Tampa Catholic Celebrates Mass After Hurricane Milton Closure

We’re thrilled to welcome our students back on campus after the unexpected closure due to Hurricane Milton. Today, we gathered as one school community to celebrate Mass with Father Chuck Dornquast, bringing us together in faith and gratitude.

Our monthly Masses are truly a team effort, and we’d like to extend a special thank you to everyone involved. From our Facilities team and parent volunteers, who transformed the gym into a spiritual space, to our Music Ministry, whose beautiful worship music filled the room, to our IT department for handling the technical aspects seamlessly. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to Campus Chaplain Mr. Ryan Mulligan and his Campus Minister students for leading these special celebrations for our community.

As you know, we are upholding the Dignity of Life this month. This Catholic Social Teaching is crucial to advocate for in the upcoming election but also as standard formation for our sons and daughters. It can be difficult to approach such a serious issue due to an abundance of cultural misunderstandings. Your teenager needs to realize that being Pro-Life is not anti-woman, is not about shaming others, and not optional for the Christian faithful. This article from Lifeteen.com is shared as a support for you and your Crusader to clarify unfortunate misconceptions. We hope it fortifies your family in this noble movement that honors all people at every stage of life.
