Homecoming Week



It’s Homecoming Week at TC, and our students showed their Crusader pride all week long! From creative dress-out days to fun activities at lunch and an exciting pep rally, Crusaders came together to celebrate school spirit and community.

Homecoming Football Game TONIGHT!

We’re kicking off Homecoming Weekend tonight as our Crusader football team takes on Miami Killian at 7:00 PM!

Come early and join us for a pregame tailgate starting at 5:00 PM, featuring food by Chef Ron, lawn games, campus tours, and even a dessert food truck.

At halftime, we’ll celebrate tradition by crowning this year’s Homecoming King and Queen.

Homecoming Dance –

Tomorrow Night

We look forward to celebrating with our students at the Homecoming Dance tomorrow evening at the Venetian Event Center at St. Mark Catholic Church. The dance will run from 8:00–11:00 PM.

Please note:

• All students must arrive by 8:30 PM (no entry after this time).
• There will be no early departures before 10:30 PM.

We can’t wait to see our Crusaders dressed up and ready to dance the night away!

Upcoming PSAT/NMSQT Testing – October 8, 2025

We’re excited to support our students as they prepare for the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. 

This assessment serves as an important benchmark for academic progress, offering students practice with standardized testing while allowing eligible juniors to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

To help students feel confident and prepared, they can access a test preview and practice questions through the Bluebook app. We strongly encourage all students to take time to explore these resources ahead of test day.

To ensure a smooth and successful testing experience, students should:

• Get a good night’s sleep
• Arrive at school on time at 7:45 AM
• Wear the appropriate school uniform
• Bring a fully charged iPad and a charger, just in case

BAIS College Fair – Sunday, October 5

Students and families are invited to attend the Bay Area Independent Schools (BAIS) College Fair this Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12–2 PM at The Coliseum (535 4th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701).



With representatives from more than 150 colleges and universities, this event is a valuable opportunity to explore admissions, academic programs, and financial aid options.

Students are encouraged to register in advance at strivefair.com/bias.

SAT Prep Class

Get ready for the SAT with our focused six-week SAT Prep Program, launching on Saturday, October 11.

Students will:

• Practice official-style SAT questions
• Learn effective test-taking strategies
• Track their progress
• Experience full-length practice exams

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death on school campuses – more than any form of cancer, concussion or illness combined. Thousands of seemingly healthy kids die every year due to detectable heart conditions. 

That’s why Tampa Catholic High School is thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with Who We Play For to provide our youth the opportunity to get their heart checked with a FREE electrocardiogram (ECG). The heart screening will take place on Monday October 6, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Tampa Catholic High School training room.

Medical Pathfinders Club – BayCare Internships

Congratulations to the 21 Tampa Catholic students from the Medical Pathfinders Club who have been selected for the prestigious yearlong internship with BayCare – St. Joseph’s Hospital!

Following a rigorous review process, these students earned the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the medical field. This year’s cohort also includes four returning interns from last year’s class.



The program begins with a Medical Professionalism Workshop on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, followed by a volunteer orientation and “Match Day,” where students will rank their top hospital departments before final placements are announced.
