Crusaders Shine Through Service:
B.E.S.T. Club Leads with Heart and Action
| | |
From making bracelets to encourage children bravely battling cancer, to warmly welcoming home our nation’s veterans, Tampa Catholic’s Blessed Edmund Society of Tampa (B.E.S.T.) Club continues to embody Gospel truth through service and leadership. These student leaders model the spirit of Christian Brothers by dedicating their time and compassion to those in need, right here in Tampa Bay.
If your child is looking for meaningful ways to serve the community, encourage them to connect with Mrs. Jina Masters '95 and visit their X2VOL dashboard.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death on school campuses – more than any form of cancer, concussion or illness combined. Thousands of seemingly healthy kids die every year due to detectable heart conditions.
That’s why Tampa Catholic High School is thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with Who We Play For to provide our youth the opportunity to get their heart checked with a FREE electrocardiogram (ECG). The heart screening will take place on Monday October 6, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Tampa Catholic High School training room.
Every student can sign up for a screening online by clicking the button below:
| | There will be a Tennis Interest Meeting on Tuesday, October 1, at 2:30 PM in Champions Hall. All students interested in joining the tennis team are encouraged to attend. Meet Coach Donna Zambito '80 and learn about tryouts, schedules, and team expectations. | | Florida’s education choice scholarships are truly transforming lives, and this article highlights one family’s inspiring story of how the program opened doors to opportunity at Tampa Catholic. We encourage all our parents to read it and see firsthand the difference these scholarships can make in ensuring every student has access to the education that best fits their needs. | | |
To keep our carline safe and efficient, please review these important reminders:
- Pull forward as far as possible before your student exits the car.
- Follow the directions of security officers, faculty, and staff.
- No cell phone use while moving through the carline.
- Freshmen only may use the front carline off Rome Ave. All other students should use the back carline (by the cafeteria) off Wishart Ave.
- No drop-offs in the middle lane of the front carline. Students must enter/exit cars from the two outside lanes only; the middle lane is for through traffic.
- Cross at the crosswalk near the Hurley Center side doors.
- Students should exit vehicles quickly so traffic can keep moving.
- After your student exits, please pull forward and exit the lot. If you need to wait, park in front of the Center for Student Services.
