Around TC

A big thank you to Carolyn Espinosa P'25 and Theology teacher, Mrs. Taylor Davidson for organizing the display and veneration of holy relics. Students, faculty, staff, and administration were all edified by the experience. Holy Saints, pray for us!

The junior class started their second unit in Theology this week titled, “The Universality of the Catholic Church”. After discussing the top 10 Catholic countries in the world, we realized that for number three, the Philippines, we had a connection on our TC campus. Mrs. Leslie Loanzan in our guidance office graciously came and spoke to our juniors about her life as a Catholic in the Philippines. 

Our Crusaders will be taking on the CCC Marauders tonight. Kick-off starts at 7 PM at Tampa Catholic. Military & First Responders get free admission with a valid ID.

Reminders & Announcements

Homecoming Dance

The Homecoming Dance is on September 28th from 8:00-11:00 PM at the Venetian Event Center, St. Mark Catholic Church (9724 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa). There will be no entry after 8:30 PM, and students may not leave before 10:30 PM.

Tickets are available until September 20th at 11:59 PM, with no refunds or transfers after purchase.

Ticket prices:

Tickets are $55 if purchased between

September 6th and September 13th.

*Ticket prices will increase by $10 if purchased between September 14th and September 20th.

Guest Forms: 

Guests will be permitted, but must be in good standing at their respective school and must complete the guest verification form (to be given to the TC student BEFORE the purchase of tickets). 

Follow the Steps Below to Bring a Guest outside of Tampa Catholic: 

1. Obtain a Guest Form and fill it out and give it to your guest to complete.
2. Submit a physical copy of the guest form to Coach Ty or Mrs. Bagué (Room 221).
3. Purchase your ticket and your guest’s ticket for the dance.

Christian Brothers Advocacy Trip to Brownsville, TX

Mr. Mulligan will be leading 5 Tampa Catholic students to Brownsville, TX on Nov 2-9. We will be learning more about marginalized families that the Christian Brothers serve near the border. This week-long advocacy trip will help our community more fully live out the social teachings of the church and will meet all service hour requirements for the 2024-2025 school year.
