Join us for a fun-filled day at Highbanks Metro Park on Wednesday, July 1, at 11:00 AM in the Mansion Shelter House! This event, sponsored by our Senior Adult Ministry, is open to EVERYONE—families, friends, and all ages are welcome! 🎉

Worship Arts Team Kickoff!

You’re invited to our annual Worship Arts Team Kick-Off on Sunday, July 26, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Youth Center.

This event is designed for those currently serving in the vocal, band, tech, host, and/or creative team...AND... it is PERFECT for anyone who has felt called to serve on one of our worship teams.

We will align ourselves with the worship ministry's purpose, principles, and practice as we kick off a new season together!

Take a look at the worship ministry teams to determine where you would like to begin or continue serving. Teams are open for adults and 6th-12th-grade students to serve.

VOCAL/CHOIR TEAM | vocalists and worship leaders
BAND TEAM | instrumentalists such as guitar, drums, keys, band, strings, and winds
TECH TEAM | technicians who operate cameras, lighting, and screens
CREATIVE TEAM | creatives such as photographers, artists, and visual designers
HOST TEAM | communicators who speak during live welcomes

Dinner will be provided. (Therefore, please limit your attendance to those who are only interested in serving.)

NOTE: We don’t plan to provide childcare, but if you have a situation that would prevent you from attending, please don’t hesitate to contact Kyley Myers. Additionally, please notify us if you have a food allergy.

VBS Donations Needed: Paper Towel Rolls

We need your help!

VBS will offer lots of fun arts & crafts projects for the kids this summer, but we need an important supply: empty paper towel rolls. And we need a lot! 🎨

You may drop off your donation at the donation box in the Kids Wing.

Parents, get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Registration for our Vacation Bible School is now OPEN! Join us from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM for a week filled with fun, faith, and friendship!

Adventure: Explore a lively rainforest filled with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures!

Discovery: Under the canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, your children will learn about the nature of God and what it means to be rooted in a relationship with their Creator.

Fun: We prioritize a safe and welcoming environment where kids can explore their faith and build lasting friendships!

Picnic at the Park

Ladies, You’re Invited to a Picnic at the Park! 🌼

Join us for a delightful time of fellowship on Thursday, July 16, at Noon at Highbanks Metro Park! It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy each other’s company in the great outdoors.

📅 Date/Time:

Thursday, July 16 at Noon

📍 Location:

Highbanks Metro Park (9466 N High Street, Lewis Center, 43035). Just look for the balloons and the sign “PICNIC AT THE PARK!” That’s where you’ll find our shelter house!

🥗 What to Bring:

Pack your own lunch and beverage, and we’ll take care of the dessert! 🍰

👶 Kids Welcome!

Feel free to bring your little ones along—just a heads up, childcare won’t be provided.

Worthington Resource Pantry

🥫We have partnered with the Worthington Resource Pantry since 2020 by collecting non-perishable food donations, toiletries, and various supplies as needed. If you can donate, please check the list below for current pantry needs:

Peanut Butter
Cereal
Tuna
Spaghetti
Hand Soap
Diapers (4 & up)
Pads

NOTE: The WRP also accepts donations of dog and cat food.

Remember, you can drop off your donations at any time! A blue donation bin is available at each of the church's entrances, and we regularly empty the bins to make room for additional items.
