| | | | Please welcome Michael Dove, our new Worship Minister! | |
We are excited to officially welcome Michael Dove as our new Worship Minister! Michael has been serving as a part-time worship leader for our church for the last few years, and we are so thankful for his faithfulness and heart for worship.
Michael has been leading others into life-changing experiences with our One and True God through the creative arts, including music, drama, and media. He has led worship ministries at Discover Christian Church, McDonough Christian Church (Georgia), and Beechwold Christian Church.
| | |
He has also been a music educator, most recently serving as the vocal music teacher, show choir director, and musical director for Benjamin Logan Local Schools. We are so grateful that the Lord has led Michael back into full-time ministry!
Michael graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and from The University of Florida with a Master’s degree in Music Education. He was ordained in 2011, and in addition to worship ministry, he has led discipleship training and served as a small group leader facilitator.
Michael and his wife, Emily, have four children – Sadie, Clara, Braden, and Nolan. Please join us in welcoming the entire Dove Family!

The Pregnancy Decision Health Center (PDHC) needs your prayers and financial support. Baby Bottles will be available in the Atrium for you to pick up this Sunday! All you need to do is fill it with change and return it to the church by this Sunday, June 15 (Father's Day).
You may drop off your coin-filled baby bottle at the Welcome Center on any Sunday morning or anytime Monday through Friday during office hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).
Questions? Please contact Alison Morrow.

The PDHC has a special donation page for Worthington Christian Church's 'Bottles for Life' campaign. Please visit their website to donate online today!

We are partnering with Colonial Hills Elementary School to support their C3 Program.
This outreach program for underprivileged children attending Colonial Hills Elementary is collecting sports equipment to encourage them to get outside and play this summer!
Requested items include soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, and jump ropes. An Amazon wish list is available. If you choose to order through Amazon, you may ship directly to the church!
Just send it to: Worthington Christian Church, Attn: Alison Morrow, 8145 N. High St, Columbus, OH 43235.

If you've been looking for a way to serve the church and enjoy taking photos/video, we have a service opportunity for you!
Photographers are needed to help capture upcoming events, such as Vacation Bible School, 50th Anniversary Celebration, Habitat Build, Fall Fest, Thanksgiving Meal, Kids' Christmas Program, and Hunger Bowl (among others).
As a volunteer photographer, your goal is to capture the event's highlights, not the entire event. You may be asked to cover an hour of a specific event with an emphasis on a particular area (e.g., the Opening or Closing Ceremony for VBS, volunteers framing walls for the Habitat Build, etc.).
| | |
The photos (or videos) you take may be used on the WCC website, social media pages, and/or in various promotional materials. High-quality (full-resolution) photos are preferred as they may be used in print.
Interested? Please contact Kristie McGlaughlin for more information.

On Sunday, June 29, we will take time during each worship service to recognize and honor WCC members who have served or are currently serving in the military with a special slideshow.

| | NOTE: If you participated in last year's military slideshow, there is no need to resend your photo! However, if you'd like to opt out of being in our slideshow again, just let us know! | | | | |
