Men's Event: Backyard BBQ!

Guys, join us this Sunday, September 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for our next Men’s Event in the WCC Backyard!

Lead Minister Austin Seevers and Outreach Minister Jay Scott will lead the evening. The focus will be on Purity. There will be discussion, encouragement, and (of course!) food!

We will meet in the WCC backyard. Please bring a lawn chair to sit on.

Habitat for Humanity Build

Want to make a HUGE difference in our community? Consider participating in our Habitat Wall Project!

On Sunday, September 21, at 9:00 and 10:30 AM, we will be building walls that will be used to help build a home for needy families in central Ohio here at WCC. Participants will follow the station leader’s instructions on how to build a wall based on blueprints distributed by Habitat for Humanity.

This project is a great option for just about anyone — families, couples, Bible study groups, seasoned fixer-uppers, or beginner-level DIYers — all you need to know is how to swing a hammer!

Habitat for Humanity will provide lumber and hammers; participants can bring work gloves if they wish. Kids aged 10 & up may also participate with their parent or guardian, so feel free to register as a family!

NOTE: All participants must wear closed-toe shoes for safety. A completed Habitat for Humanity volunteer waiver is required to participate.

Women's Bible Study

There is only one way to be the person God called you to be, and that is through the Holy Spirit.

And yet, why does it seem we are almost afraid to talk about the Holy Spirit? If we were to ask this question: “How much do you know about the Holy Spirit, and can you describe how His power works in us?” What would you say? We understand God. We understand Jesus. But the Holy Spirit remains a mystery to us.

Bring your Bible and come and join us for a six-week Bible study as we work through the Scriptures to see the Holy Spirit in a whole new light!

We will offer this study on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM beginning Sept. 23 and Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM beginning Sept. 25. Join us!

WCC Moms: Momversation!

Join our moms group this fall as we gather once a month to build a community rooted in Christ’s love!

All mamas are welcome (pregnant ladies through moms of 5th graders). We generally meet every third Wednesday of the month in the Youth Center from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Childcare will be provided.

Each month, we will have a potluck dinner. Please let us know what you plan to bring!

Join us for Momversation on Wednesday, September 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Come hang out, laugh, and connect with other moms. Bring a parenting question (or just come for the company) and let’s chat it out together.

WCC Moms: Preschool Playgroup

WCC Moms invites parents of preschoolers to the family play area in the WCC Kids Wing every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Our next playdate is Tuesday, September 16, at 9:30 AM.

Registration is not required — just show up!

See you then!

Fall Fest is October 12

Our annual Fall Fest is Sunday, October 12, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the WCC Backyard.

We will have a rock climbing wall, food trucks, Kona Ice, roasted hot dogs, and bounce houses for the kids. Ohio Wildlife will also be on site!

As always, this event is free! Seating is limited, so bring something to sit on. And be sure to invite a friend!

New Sunday Morning Group: Truth Seekers!

A new Sunday morning Bible study group will begin meeting on Sunday, October 19, in room 135 at 9:00 AM.

The group is open to adults of all ages who desire to study God's word, grow spiritually, and build Christ-centered relationships with others. We will focus on individual topics, so new attendees will never feel like they've missed something!
