Women's Ministry Bible Study: The Gospel of Mark
Join us for another awesome study beginning Thursday, January 14 at 10:00 AM or 7:00 PM via Zoom!

Ladies, join us as we take a deep dive into the Gospel of Mark. Whether you’ve had a relationship with Jesus for a long time, are a new follower of His, or are still wondering about who Jesus is, one goal of this study is that everyone would walk away with a greater appreciation of who Jesus is and how a relationship with Him will dramatically alter your life.
This study will run from January 14 to March 25 and will be available at two times — 10:00 AM or 7:00 PM. Both studies will be identical and will last an hour.
Connect Class
Our Connect Class, led by Community Life Minister, Austin Seevers, will answer your questions about faith, baptism, church membership and our vision for Worthington Christian Church.

We will offer this class on Sunday, January 31 at 11:00 AM to Noon in-person in rm. 120 and through Zoom. It will be in a relaxed atmosphere that allows for honest questions while we take a closer look at what we believe and how we respond to those beliefs.

Look for your Zoom invite (with meeting ID # and password) to be in your inbox by Thursday, January 28. Questions? Please contact Patti Remaklus.
Join us for worship!
We ask that you please register for in-person worship. We need you to do this for two reasons:

  1. If someone who attended in-person worship tests positive for COVID, we are obligated to inform you of possible exposure. We cannot inform you if you don't register.
  2. Seating is limited. To ensure that we are able to keep everyone at a safe distance, we need to know how many to expect on Sunday during each service.
For additional details on what we are doing to make in-person worship services safer, please visit our website.

NOTE: Kid's Worship & Preschool classes are available during the 9:45 AM service only.
Hunger Bowl
Every year on Super Bowl Sunday, we partner with Lifeline Christian Mission to pack meals to send to hungry children around the world. We call this church-wide event, ‘Hunger Bowl.’

These shelf-stable meals are loaded with nutrition packed by hundreds of volunteers and then loaded onto pallets to be immediately shipped. Upon arrival they are distributed to children in need and they help to make a major impact in the daily fight against malnutrition.

Our next Hunger Bowl is on Sunday, February 7 in the Family Life Center and registration has already begun!
Meal packing times are 8:30 AM, 9:45 AM, 11:11 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM. NOTE: If you require childcare, please register for the 9:45 AM meal pack. Facemasks, gloves and hairnets will be required. Questions? Please contact Alison Morrow.
Kids Ministry: Flashlight Scavenger Hunt
Elementary-age kids are invited to an evening of fun on Friday, February 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Family Life Center.

Kids, you're going to be sent on a mission to unlock a secret message! You will need to work together to solve the encrypted code and scavenge in the dark for the missing items.

Pizza, drinks and snack will be provided and masks will be required.
Kids Ministry: Blast Off!
If you're a grown-up and you've been following Jesus for a while, you've probably figured out a few ways to grow spiritually. The kids you're parenting or leading, on the other hand, aren't grown-ups, so they might need a little help from you to figure out how, exactly, to grow spiritually.

So what should spiritual growth look like for a kid? We like to think about it in terms of four spiritual habits.

  • Teach kids to spend time with God
  • Encourage them to spend time with others
  • Use your gifts
  • Share your story
As we start a new year, there's not a better time to start some new habits. Are you ready to BLAST OFF?

Blast Off! is our curriculum for January 2021. Teaching videos, notes and coloring pages are available on our Kids Ministry page. If you would like to join us in-person on Sunday mornings, you may do so during the 9:45 AM service, but registration is requested.
Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-lesson class on money management taught by America’s most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey. Dave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future and much more.

Financial Peace University will meet every Tuesday evening via Zoom beginning February 2 to March 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
