Tomorrow (Thursday, May 7) is the National Day of Prayer. We invite you to join us as we come together in prayer for our nation, communities, and homes. As we honor the 250th anniversary of our country’s founding, let’s unite in gratitude for the freedoms and blessings we often take for granted.

On this special day, millions will lift their voices in prayer—seeking wisdom for our leaders, compassion for our neighbors, healing for our homes, and unity in our nation. Whether you pray aloud, write your thoughts down, or simply feel them in your heart, know that your prayers are powerful and heard by God.

It’s Time to Register for VBS: Rainforest Falls! 🌈🌿

Parents, get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Registration for our Vacation Bible School is now OPEN! Join us from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM for a week filled with fun, faith, and friendship!

Adventure: Explore a lively rainforest filled with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures!

Discovery: Under the canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, your children will learn about the nature of God and what it means to be rooted in a relationship with their Creator.

Fun: We prioritize a safe and welcoming environment where kids can explore their faith and build lasting friendships!

Diaper Drive for the Bloom Free Store

Join us in making a difference for local families! We’re collecting disposable diapers to support the Bloom Free Store, which provides essential items to families with young children in our community.

🗓️ Drop-off Details:

You may drop off a new, unopened box or package of disposable diapers in the Atrium between now and Father's Day!

👶 Sizes Needed:

Newborn to Size 8 (Sizes 2-7 are most needed) and Pull-ups & Swimmers

🎯 Our Goal:

Help us reach our target of donating 10,000 individual diapers to the Bloom Free Store! Every box counts, and your generosity can change lives.

Fill a Baby Bottle for the PDHC! 💖👶

Beginning Mother's Day, we have a wonderful opportunity to support the Pregnancy Decision Health Center (PDHC)! They need our prayers and financial support, and you can make a difference by participating in our 'Bottles for Life' campaign!

🍼 How It Works:

Pick Up a Baby Bottle: Grab a baby bottle in the Atrium this Sunday!

Fill It with Change: Collect your spare change and fill the bottle with love and support for young moms in crisis.

Return It: Bring your filled bottle back to the church by Sunday, June 21 (Father's Day).

📍 Drop-Off Locations:

Welcome Center: Any Sunday morning or Monday through Friday during office hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).

Volunteers Needed: Worthington Christian Village

The Worthington Christian Village has several opportunities for anyone with a heart to serve and a desire to brighten someone's day!

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:

BINGO! We’re looking for a lively, engaging BINGO caller to join our rotation for Independent Residents once a month on Thursdays from 6:00–7:00 PM.

CHAIR EXERCISES: For our Assisted Living residents, we are seeking help on the 2nd and 4th Monday, leading 15 minutes of chair exercises (beginning at 10:45 AM) and then rolling into 30 minutes of trivia conversations.

Worthington Resource Pantry

🥫We have partnered with the Worthington Resource Pantry since 2020 by collecting non-perishable food donations, toiletries, and various supplies as needed. If you can donate, please check the list below for current pantry needs:

Peanut Butter
Cereal
Tuna
Spaghetti
Hand Soap
Diapers (4 & up)
Pads

NOTE: The WRP also accepts donations of dog and cat food.

Remember, you can drop off your donations at any time! A blue donation bin is available at each of the church's entrances, and we regularly empty the bins to make room for additional items.
