Just a reminder that we are planning to spread the wood chip playmat that is being delivered this week
on Saturday at
9:00am.
There is a conflict with sandwich making for the homeless shelter that day, but I am hoping to pick up some volunteers either before or after that event.
Please come and help out if you can. Bring tools to spread the wood chips, particularly wheel barrows, shovels, rakes, and pitchforks.
Kick-Off Sunday -- September 9th - Sunday School begins; Ministry Fair (sign up for a Committee -- try something new!); lunch will be served.
Will you proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ? - I will, with God's help.
- Words of the Service of Holy Baptism and our commitment as followers of Jesus. This is why we do what we do as a faith community to reach out to the world around us.
The Social Ministries Team invites you to stop by our table at the September 9 Ministries Fair to see how Good Shepherd responds to this commitment.

Next Sunday would be good, too!
Personal Toiletries for Shepherd's Table
- Some of us have items from stays in motels that we have not used - soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. - or unused personal toiletries that we purchase for such trips. Bring them in to the box at the back of church. They are gratefully used by clients of Shepherd's Table who access their shower facilities.
