There is a service every day at Ascension during Holy Week. These ancient rites help us to step back through the centuries and make the walk with Jesus from the Sunday of the Passion (Palm Sunday) to the Resurrection. All are welcome!

Palm Sunday with Liturgy of the Palms, March 25

Breakfast will be served as usual.
CAYA will lead the young folks in an Easter egg hunt starting at 9:00 a.m. (during the regular Sunday School/Christian Formation time period).
After the 10:30 service, all are invited to a champagne reception in the parish hall.

to the talented cooks - Elena Kinnett, Leah MacSwords, and Jenny Neat - who provided a wonderful supper on Wednesday, 3/21, which was the last night of our book study group and family activities for the Lenten season.
EASTER LILY ORDERS - You are invited to sponsor a potted Easter lily to honor someone special in your life. The lilies will be used to decorate the church on Easter Sunday (you may claim yours to take home later if you wish), and dedications will be listed in the Easter bulletin and eWeekly. Order/dedication forms are now available on tables in the church and hallway - or click here for a printable PDF form . Please return completed forms with payment to the office no later than Wednesday, March 28.
CENTERING PRAYER, every Saturday morning
All are invited and welcome to come and explore this ancient technique. Please gather in the church between 9:45-10:00 a.m. No latecomers – at 10:05, we will lock the doors and move to a quiet interior room for about an hour. THE BROTHERHOOD OF ST. ANDREW will meet next on Saturday, March 31 (every other Saturday), at 8:00 a.m. in the parish hall. Contact William Legg for details.

Maundy Thursday, March 29
Mark your calendars and plan ahead to take a turn at sitting for this all-night holy vigil – in teams of two or more whenever possible. A sign-up sheet for sitting the vigil is now posted in the hallway beside the office door; please make your commitment as soon as possible.

  • Yes, we are still looking for Coffee Hour hosts and helpers! Do you have a team, group, family or partner who could bring in a few light/simple snacks, and/or help serve and clean up, for our important time of fellowship after the 10:30 service on Sunday? If you would like to help with Coffee Hour, please sign up on the printed sheet on the office window (or contact Jan Stevens - see below). The coffee itself is provided by the Men's Club, and vestry members have agreed to pitch in on Sundays when no one else is scheduled, but we encourage everyone to share in this ministry as you are able. 

  • Jan Stevens is our Hospitality Coordinator - contact her by email at jstevens5@aol.com to discuss Coffee Hour questions, needs and procedures. If you can bring treats but need a helper, or vice versa, Jan can help you team up!
