Volume 8, Issue #24 - June 14, 2018

In the name of Christ, we embrace all people to be nourished and empowered by the Holy Spirit to love and serve the world.
June 25-29, 2018

There will be a ‘working’ ice cream social on Sunday, June 24, 3-5 p.m., in the Parish Hall here at Church of the Ascension. We will have games for you to learn how to direct, make your camp name tags, and have a “Make-It-Yourself Ice Cream Sundae” bar. This is a time for you to get acquainted with your fellow staffers, as well as learn what you will be doing for the week at camp, so we ask that ALL volunteer youth counselors staff attend. Looking forward to seeing you there!

**If you can’t make it, please let Rebecca Saager know ASAP:
email [email protected] or text 502.316.8899 so that she can get with you and go over anything needed before camp starts on Monday, June 25, at 8:00 a.m.

If you would like to help with Coffee Hour, please sign up on the printed sheet on the office window (or contact Jan Stevens - see below). The coffee itself is provided by the Men's Club, and vestry members have agreed to pitch in on Sundays when no one else is scheduled, but we encourage everyone to share in this ministry as you are able.
