Volume 8, Issue #28 - July 19, 2018

In the name of Christ, we embrace all people to be nourished and empowered by the Holy Spirit to love and serve the world.
BEES & WEEDS Update:   Last week we asked for a little extra help from our friends. After months of unexpectedly high maintenance costs, we are now faced with relocating a major infestation of honeybees from the sanctuary, and also with a fast-growing glut of weeds, vines, poison ivy and saplings on our church grounds. Contributions have started to come in, but more are needed. If you can give a little something extra, make out your check to Ascension and note in the memo “Bees” or “Weeds.” (Once the cost of either project is covered, any remainder noted for that project will go to the other.)
