Volume 8, Issue #38 - September 27, 2018
In the name of Christ, we embrace all people to be nourished and empowered by the Holy Spirit to love and serve the world.
NEW BULLETIN FORMAT

Starting this Sunday, September 30, you will see a new trial format for our service bulletins. Both the 8:00 and 10:30 bulletins will be printed in one single booklet.

The content of each service liturgy remains the same; the paper size is different, and new user-friendly content is added in keeping with the new Invite, Welcome, Connect strategy recently introduced by Shannon Lancaster.

Advantages of the new format include a larger type size throughout, which will surely be welcomed by everyone. The new booklet size is the same as the current bulletin for 8:00, which is easier to "juggle" with the prayer book and hymnal. Design and editing are simplified, automated assembly means no human hands are needed to fold or staple, and eliminating the use of larger paper will make production more economical.

Blessings,
-Jessee+

  • 09/09/18: $2,274
  • 09/16/18: $5,942

ABOUT THE INCOME SPIKES: Income and expense numbers in the chart above do include ALL donations and pass-thru amounts, such as those designated for Capital Campaign, Music Fund, Reading Camp, Food Pantry, etc., which accounts for large spikes on the graphs. The income spike shown in August 2018 is due to a Line of Credit Loan for $20,000 which was incurred on 8/17/18 to carry us through the coming months. This precaution is mainly due to very high maintenance costs this year. Monthly expenses are recorded only at the end of each month, calculated as a weekly average.
