 The Genealogy Minute

Take a look at our upcoming classes and workshops.
Happy Holidays from CRCGS!
Practical Genealogy
Thursday January 7 from 10 AM to Noon
Zoom Meeting - Registration Required
Getting a good start in your genealogy research will depend in large part on doing it correctly from the beginning. Many a seasoned genealogist has had to go back and make corrections after years of research.
We will cover the proper way to use names/dates/places, citing your sources, software, where to find information, and organizing the abundant information that your family has left for you to uncover. This is a good follow up course for those who took our Beginning Genealogy class in November. Class Listing

Managing the Data Monster

Learn how to tackle the three main problem areas of genealogy data: research data, project data and file data so you can put the fun back in your research! Attendees will learn the basics of working “smarter” instead of “harder” when it comes to managing genealogy data. Read More
