Vicar Aaron's Message
If you’ve ever hiked a mountain peak, you know that you can’t stay up there forever – no matter how beautiful the view! In this week’s scripture, Jesus is revealed as a dazzling, divine figure – he is transfigured. But this is a mountaintop experience, a sign of Easter’s resurrection promise; they have to come back down the mountain.
Dazzling God, we can’t stay on the mountain forever. Make Your loving presence known to us through the highs and lows of life; remind us of Your resurrection and eternal life. Amen.
