PREPARING FOR WORSHIP

Pastor Trudy's message

The message this week: We have another parable...this one (Matthew 20) compares the kingdom of heaven to a landowner with some pretty sketchy business practices. Or generous business practices. Or foolish business practices. Or just business practices. Sound confusing? We will dive together into figuring out the messy, perhaps uncomfortable, work of the kingdom.

Generous God, Your kingdom looks different from the kingdoms of this world and operates under different rules, but in us they come crashing together. Help us to navigate this earthly kingdom with the boldness of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
