enliveo (VSC) Weekly Updates
October 27th, 2023 | Issue No. 258
Good morning everyone, I hope you are doing well. I am here to give you the weekly update on the Holocaust Survivor Program's enliveo (VSC).

Please join Karen and Alex at 4pm today as we celebrate the Tony Award-winning musical of 1958, The Music Man. We'll learn some history, listen to songs and watch videos of stage performances, including from the original 1957 production.

On Monday, October 30th at 5pm, we will have our Jewish-themed Music and Torah Conversation program with Rabbi Sally.

On Monday, October 30th at 7pm, we will have the NY Art Scene program with Jess. Join Jess and your VSC friends as you explore the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

On Tuesday, October 31st at 11am, we will have our Classical Music Stars program. Join Fran and your VSC friends as you begin to watch the documentary, Opera's Shining Star: Dame Kiri Te Kanawas.

On Wednesday, November 1st at 2pm, we will have our Critically Acclaimed TV and Cinema program with Jess. Join Jess and your VSC friends as you continue to watch Only Murders in the Building.

As we are all aware, Israel is in a very difficult situation which is changing daily. Every Wednesday at 4pm, Hanan Simhon will be facilitating a virtual class for survivors regarding the ongoing situation in Israel. This class will recur for the next several weeks, as the situation unfolds. The focus of the group will be to provide you with updates and information, as well as to offer you a safe space for support.

You are warmly invited to join us for a virtual tour of the French and American Impressionist collections at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston on Thursday, November 2nd at 4pm. The MFA, Boston has one of the most extensive collections of French Impressionism in the United States. It includes one of the largest collections of the celebrated Impressionist painter Claude Monet’s work outside France. In addition, the Museum’s collection of American Impressionism includes American artists such as Mary Cassat who spent time with their French contemporaries. Together we will explore some highlights of these collections through close looking and discussion. We really hope you can join us. The tour will be led by Ronit Minchom, Accessibility Coordinator, and guides from the MFA Access Department.

Thank you so much for being a part of this incredible program and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Best Wishes,

Jess Gianna
