We human beans are made up of a lot of complicated parts: mind, heart, emotions, thoughts, ego, senses, feelings, body, soul. We feed our mouths. We feed our emotions. We feed our egos. We feed our senses. We feed our minds (sometimes with all kinds of junk).
What about our souls? They need feeding, too.
"When you learn to align more with your soul each day, life seems to flow more naturally and taking action is less of a struggle," writes Elyse Santilli, a life coach. "You feel a greater sense of freedom, joy, satisfaction, empowerment and inner peace."
Do you feed your soul? So what's on the menu?
To name a few ways I feed mine: praying ... church time quiet ... yoga classes ... walking the pup (and leaving my phone behind) ... traveling ... sitting / walking / yoga on the beach ... family time ... driving without the radio (ahhhh - silence) ... dolphin-watching ... watching feel-good movies ... bike rides ... pup snuggles ... laughing ... writing ... girlfriend / cousin / sister time.
There's more - yet never-mind me - let's concentrate on your soul-feeding.
I hope you're doing some.
Life gets crazy ... busy busy busy ... stuff to-do-to-do-to-do ... catering to others ... obligations ... many moving parts. We can easily become distracted and detached from ourselves.
Feeding our souls requires us to STOP. BREATHE. LISTEN. BE. UN-DO. GET BALANCED.
Snippeteers, this is important. For our well-being. For our sanity. For our peace. For our health. For balance. For a clearer mind. For a good detox.
Feed your soul what it needs.
What is that for YOU? Feel free to share your list with our snippeteers; withhold name if you prefer or provide first name & state.

lose yourself in something you love: "Dancing, cooking, writing, running, painting ... when you're caught up in something you really love," says Santilli, "your mind goes quiet and your soul takes over. It's a beautiful, freeing feeling and something we should all strive to experience more often."
