FLIPTURN ANNOUNCE SUMMER 2022 HEADLINE TOUR DATES

Surrounding their upcoming summer appearances at SunFest, Shaky Knees, Hangout, Bonnaroo, Levitate, and Lollapalooza, flipturn announce a run of headline tour dates up the East Coast. After a busy summer on the road, the band will close things out with their personally curated festival – Playground Music Festival – in Gainesville, FL, one of the cities that shaped their young careers the most. Openers for these newly added shows include Illiterate Light, The Haunting and Rohna. Last month, flipturn independently released their new single “Playground.” In just 10 days, the track amassed over 100,000 streams with help from placements on Spotify’s Grade A and Indie Arrivals playlists, as well as placements from over 3,000 independent playlist curators. As the first single off of their long-awaited debut album, the explosive release of “Playground” signifies the start of a foot on the gas pedal era for flipturn.

Right now, the band is wrapping up a tour run with Wilderado and will be joining Mt. Joy and Rainbow Kitten Surprise for a handful of shows later in the month. This summer will see the band continue to make sure fans across the country have the chance to experience the unbridled joy of a flipturn live show.

ABOUT FLIPTURN

In the time since 2015, flipturn has mushroomed to reaches far beyond the walls of the Fernandina Beach garage they first practiced in. Built up by Dillon Basse (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Tristan Duncan (lead guitar), Madeline Jarman (bass), Mitch Fountain (synth), and Devon VonBalson (drums), the band is walking proof that the DIY approach is still alive and well in the modern music world.
