HART Changes Name to goHunterdon
Hunterdon Area Rural Transit, Inc., the non-profit transportation management association dedicated to promoting sustainable transportation in Hunterdon County, recently announced that it has changed its name to “goHunterdon” .

goHunterdon Hosts Annual Meeting & Awards Breakfast
More than 100 guests joined in the festivities at the goHunterdon Annual Meeting & Awards Breakfast held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial in Hampton, NJ. 

Hunterdon County Junior Solar Sprints Education Program Underway
Approximately 800 students at seventeen (17) Hunterdon middle schools are learning about alternative energy as part of the Hunterdon County Junior Solar Sprints education program coordinated by goHunterdon. Junior Solar Sprints is a competition based S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) curriculum program that engages students in grades 6-8 to design, build and race solar-powered model cars.

Commute 3.0 Initiative
Commuters spend a lot of time behind the wheel. goHunterdon’s Commute 3.0 initiative focuses on making Hunterdon commutes safer, smarter, and speedier.

Bicycle Rack Loan Program Encourages Bicycling
A new “Bicycle Rack Loaner Program” is being offered by goHunterdon to increase bicycle parking within Hunterdon County. The program is part of goHunterdon’s “Bike Hunterdon” initiative to promote bicycling and bicycle tourism.  

Local Students Learn Pedestrian Safety as part of Hunterdon County Safe Routes to School Program
Students at Hunterdon elementary and intermediate schools continue to receive education and encouragement as part of their daily walk to school. The 2018-2019 school year marks 10 years that goHunterdon has facilitated the Safe Routes to School program in Hunterdon County. The goals of the program are simple ~ “Where it is safe, get kids walking or bicycling; Where it is not safe, make it safe.”
