New Year, New Commute
goHunterdon’s Commuter Services Program offers commuters a variety of programs and services to help improve their commute experience. Commuters can benefit from the Traffic Alert Service. Free alerts are sent via email weekdays during the peak commute hours, 6 a.m.- 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

Bicycle Commuter Workshop Series Kicks Off
The Bike Hunterdon 2019 Bicycle Commuter Workshop series kicked off in January, with a “Bikes & Brew” session held at Clinton Bicycle Shop LLC, 51 Main Street, Clinton, NJ. The "brew", in the form of tea and coffee, was donated by The Stone Bean at Riverside Coffee and Tea, Clinton. 

Local Businesses Support Hunterdon County Junior Solar Sprints Program
Students learn best by “doing”. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of local businesses, goHunterdon is able to facilitate the Hunterdon County Junior Solar Sprints (JSS) program.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Hunterdon County
Transportation emissions from fossil fuels are the single largest source of air pollution in New Jersey. Reducing this emissions source is integral to improving public health and meeting the state’s greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals.

Street Smart NJ Improves Pedestrian Safety in Hunterdon County
Califon and Flemington are the two most recent Hunterdon communities to benefit from hosting a Street Smart NJ pedestrian safety campaign. Street Smart NJ is a public education, awareness and behavioral change campaign developed by the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) and funded through Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) resources, as well as through substantial local in-kind contributions.
