Traveling more than 5,000 miles across the Atlantic, North America’s first-ever compliant zero-emission, hydrogen-powered passenger train is en route to the United States, making a handful of pit stops before heading home to the tracks in San Bernardino County.

As the start of the school year approaches, there is good news for high school, middle school and elementary students all over San Bernardino County. K-12 students now ride free every day, on every bus system in the County. That includes Omnitrans, Victor Valley Transit, Mountain Transit, Basin Transit and Needles Area Transit.

On Friday, July 21, SBCTA, in partnership with Caltrans and the City of Highland, marked a momentous occasion with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the SR 210 Lane Addition and Base Line Interchange Project.

Vanpoolers in the Inland Empire can now earn subsidies of up to $700 every month toward vanpool lease costs.



The monthly subsidy for vanpools that travel into Riverside and San Bernardino counties is now $600 (up from $400). Zero-emission vehicles may qualify for up to a $700 monthly subsidy (previously $500).
