A decade ago, SBCTA envisioned and committed to a modern, sustainable passenger rail system that would redefine commuter transit along one of the busiest transportation corridors in the United States.

SBCTA formally celebrated its 50 years of leadership and innovation in meeting the transportation access needs of one of the fastest-growing population and economic centers in the United States.

San Bernardino County has a vast network of connecting public transit systems. The San Bernardino Transit Center serves as a connecting point for nine bus and train systems. Riders can take their local system to the Transit Center and transfer safely and quickly to get where they need to go, from Barstow to as far as Oceanside, or from Los Angeles all the way to Indio. However, most people may not be aware that this transit network is available.

At their annual Transportation Summit in September, Mobility 21 recognized Ontario Councilman and SBCTA Board Member Alan Wapner with their Lifetime Achievement Award.

Due to maintenance and rehabilitation projects on Saturday and Sunday, October 14-15, San Bernardino Line service will not operate between Montclair and San Bernardino. Unfortunately, due to the lack of bus operators, alternate bus transportation will NOT be available.
