Come join us Fri, Dec 5 for our Principal's Coffee at 9 am followed by our meeting at 9:30 am. Do you have any helpful suggestions for us? Do you have questions about SAT prep, volunteer opportunities, driving lessons, where to get easy, affordable team meals, or anything else? Come, share and chat with other Langley parents. We'll discuss 2026 PTSA plans too. We hope to see many of you there!

Saxon Stage is excited to present its fall play, The Play That Goes Wrong! From the creators of Mischief comes this award-winning Broadway and West End comedy. It’s opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor, a 1920s whodunit where everything that can go wrong does—sets collapse, lines are missed, and even the corpse won’t stay dead. But the determined cast presses on, delivering non-stop laughs through total theatrical mayhem. A hilarious blend of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes, this global sensation will have you laughing from start to finish—and maybe even after the curtain falls.

turkey trot 2025

Lace up and get your "crew" together and join the Langley and McLean Crew teams for the 4th Annual Turkey Trot on Sat, Nov 29. This fun, family-friendly race raises funds for both the Langley Crew and Mclean Crew Clubs. Every registration helps student-athletes stay on the water and rowing strong! Join us after the race for music, food and coffee trucks, a bake sale, and winter greenery sale.

When: Sat, Nov 29

Time: Event opens at 8 am, race starts at 9 am

Packet Pick-Up: Nov 25, 4:30–7:30 pm at Langley HS Door 14 Lobby or on Race Day from 8 am

Renaissance Feaste



Come join the Langley Choir for a huge dinner theater experience on Fri, Dec 5 and Sat, Dec 6 at 7 pm. There are hundreds of decorations around Langley Hall, Renaissance costumes, memorized scripts, some dancing, a catered meal, and of course singing! 

Dinner seats are $38 per person (vegetarian options available). Stadium-style seating on the steps of Langley Hall is $10 per person (does not include dinner). Get tickets before they sell out or scan the QR code on the flyer.

Attention LHS Transfer Families Past and Present!

We invite you to a fun and festive Potluck Lunch Social at the LHS Career Center on Fri, Dec 12, from 11 am - 1 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow former Transfer Families and to welcome those new to our community.

If you are able, please bring a favorite dish to share. Drinks will be provided. This will be our last Transfer Family event of the year, so don’t miss out!

volunteer FCPS change

Volunteer FCPS has updated the Level(s) of the applications as of Nov 2025. Only mentors, host parents, and non-parent volunteers having frequent, direct, and unsupervised contact with students will require fingerprinting | Level 3. Field trip chaperones moved from Level 3 to Level 2.

All volunteers must complete the application process as soon as possible!
