Dear friends,
I hope you have stayed safe through all of this and found some balance in this world we are living in. I wanted to write you all for thanksgiving, but as I found my own email box overflowing with happy thanksgiving emails... I had a hard time writing my normal sappy grateful note! Not because I am not insanely grateful - because I am SO grateful, always... for so many things... But because everything felt so different, and I knew this has been a tough year for so many. Some in much bigger ways than I can even imagine. So, I just wanted you all to know that I am grateful for you, but also thinking of you.
So I thought instead today I'd just sent a quick note on what I am most grateful for this year, and that is the *silver linings*. They aren't always easy to find, but if you look hard enough they are often there.

As many of you know, one of my biggest blessings this year was my mini-wedding... yup, I'm married guys! We got to have our ceremony with 19 of our closest family and friends with a dream sunset up in the sky. It wasn't at all what we'd envisioned last January, but I wouldn't change a thing now that it's happened. I know getting married certainly helps me have one amazing silver lining to report on... but so many of you have been here along the way to support me in this wild ride of life and real estate, I wanted to share! From my days renting apartments, to selling my first houses, to making my first turkey, all the way up until today. And as always, I'm so grateful for that.
So today officially marks December 1st - one month married for me, and one month left of 2020 for ALL OF US. While I don't know what's in store for 2021, I know I am very much looking forward to a fresh start and a new year. I also hope you all find some silver living to 2020, no matter how small.
And now that I'm married, it's back to selling houses... so I'm sure you'll be hearing from me soon!
Stay safe,
Melanie
PS here's a pic!!! Isn't he a hunk? ;-)
