April is the Month of the Military Child! This month-long celebration of FCPS military-connected students raises awareness and recognizes the resilience of military-connected youth and thanks them for their service as part of a military family. Apr 15 is designated as “Purple Up!” Day and everyone is encouraged to wear purple (the combination of all the military service branch colors) to celebrate and thank our military-connected students for their service. On Apr 15, Langley HS will recognize our military connected students in the Lecture Hall during Saxon Time. Parents are welcome too.
Parents and students RSVP to LHS Family Liaison Julie Zimmerman Hohl at jbzimmerman@fcps.edu if you can attend.
