KEEPING YOU INFORMED

PALM BRANCHES SUNDAY - Since we can't gather together to wave palm branches this Palm Sunday, please cut small branches from your yard and be ready to wave them during the opening of both the traditional and contemporary services this Sunday. You're invited to take a pictures waving the branches in worship and then post them during worship using the hashtag #ConcordUnitedPalms so we can all see how we are worshipping together.

HOLY THURSDAY COMMUNION - We will be taking communion together during our Holy Thursday 7pm online worship service April 9. Please plan to have bread and grape juice easily available during the service. If you cannot acquire bread and/or grape juice, please use the most similar available replacements.

A men's and a women's online open share recovery group will be offered via Zoom video conference at 7:15 on Mondays. Please follow United In Recovery on Facebook to access links to the online recovery groups.

CHURCHWIDE PRAYER LIST - If you have a prayer request that you would like to share with the congregation, click here.

PRIVATE PRAYER LIST - If you have a prayer request that you would like to share with the pastors at Concord, click here.

GIVING - There are many ways to continue giving. 1) Mail - 11020 Roane Drive - 37934 (someone is checking the mail daily) 2) Online - Concordumc.com/give 3) Text - Text CONCORDUMC to 73256 to give from your phone.
During this time of chaos, we would like to encourage each of you to share on Facebook about our services and invite your friends to attend. They can watch the online campus at ConcordUMC.com or on Facebook/ConcordUnitedKnox.

Something new we would like to encourage you to try is a Facebook Watch Party. You can invite your friends to worship with you. A Facebook Watch Party is a simple way to watch videos together in Facebook Groups (and chat) in real time. Let your friends know that you are going to have a watch party on Sunday and what time you would like for them to join you to watch one of Sunday's service. This is very easy to do! Look below the Facebook video for the purple icon that looks like a box of popcorn and to the right is a box with start in it. Click the start button and share on your timeline. This will open up a video screen that will allow you to comment back and forth.

Friends, these unsettling times make inviting people to church easy and because of the chaos around us, many will accept.
