HOT TOPICS FOR PARENTSWednesday, February 19 - Join Agent Clay Anderson with the FBI who will speak on this timely topic and give information all parents, grandparents and others who work with children and youth need to hear. Meets in the Fellowship Hall from 6:00 – 7:00. 

MEN'S EVENT - Friday, February 21 from 6:00-9:00 PM. Doug Kilday will speak about the struggle to remain faithful when God’s call means putting yourself or your family in harm’s way. Tickets—$10 per person or fill a table for $50 (seats 7) Register at

RECOVERY TESTIMONY NIGHT - Liz Powers will be sharing her story of how she found freedom from addiction, healing from a traumatic past, and faith in God through recovery. Please join us on Monday February 24 to hear her inspiring message. Snacks start at 6pm, Worship is at 6:30, and Open Share Groups begin at 7:15.

DAILY LENTEN DEVOTIONALS - We will be offering a daily Lenten devotional series written by the pastors, staff and laity of Concord. The first devotional will begin on Ash Wednesday, February 26. You may receive the devotional each morning by e-mail or Facebook. If you are already receiving the weekly devotionals, you will automatically receive these. If not, click here to sign up.

The congregation mourns the loss of Bill Tuller , a member of Concord since, October 15, 2017, who died on February 8.

SPRING BREAK MISSION HURRICANE RECOVERY TRIP, MARCH 14-20 - Join the team if you and your family are age 13 & older to help make a powerful and lasting impact on the lives others by helping to rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Michael. COMMUNITY GARDEN MEETING - Monday, February 17 at 7 pm in Room 226. They will be taking applications and discussing some of the goals for the gardens in 2020.

FEBRUARY PANTRY TRAINING DATES - Tuesday, February 18 at 1:30 PM and Thursday, February 20 at 6:00 PM. Please email at least 2 days in advance to attend.

STUDENT MINISTRIES AUCTION - Sunday, March 1, 5:00-7:00 PM. Join us for a night "Around the World with dinner, entertainment, and the opportunity to grow this ministry. Tickets are on sale now for $20. Click here to buy online.

FAITH AND IMMIGRATION SERIES will be held Sundays, February 16 and 23,  5-7 pm Room 296. All are invited. The evening includes a light supper.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN'S TEA & PURSE AUCTION – March 7, 2 PM - Do you have any purses hanging around that you no longer want? If so, bring them to the church and put them in one of the marked bins. The United Methodist women will auction off some of the donated purses to help support their missions. Also, we are requesting items for women who are newly released from prison. REQUESTED ITEMS: journals, soap, deodorant, pens, comb/brush, Bibles, devotionals, socks, nail polish, nail kit, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, body spray, writing pads, and wallets. The Purse Ministry is a part of The Free Indeed International Ministries helps empower those who are incarcerated with re-entry into their families and communities through biblical principles. SOUPER BOWL OF CARING THANK YOU - The UMM thank the generous members who gave a total of $2087 to the Souper Bowl of Caring. That brings the 14-year total to $24,400 - money that is distributed evenly to four organizations that feed the hungry. Thanks also to the men and Cub Scouts who held the pots.
