In the midst of another period of dark and desperate times, Jesus reminded the disciples that he was the light of life and whatever darkness was or would be present could not diminish his light.
As we move through the winter months, we too want to remember that Jesus is still our Light of life. Each Sunday of our sermon series we will be focusing on the different ways Jesus is the light to all of us. We want you to participate in this new series by adding your star of light to the display on the front lawn.
To do so, pick up a star from the plastic tubs outside the worship center, and write on it a phrase, Scripture, poem or song lyrics that remind you that the Light still shines in the darkness. Then you use the ribbon provided and tie your star to one of the trees. Contact Joan
with your information if you are unable to come to the church and they will put one up for you.
Also join in the social media campaign by using #lightoflife and tagging Concord United in your post.
Let’s tell the community that the Light of Life still shines . . . even in the darkness!!
