JOIN US IN THE GARDEN
Concord United Methodist Church’s Community Garden is growing fresh produce for neighbors in need, and volunteers are needed throughout the season. Individuals, families, Sunday school classes, youth groups, mission teams, and church groups are invited to help with weeding, mowing, harvesting, clearing limbs, and maintaining garden beds. No gardening experience is required — just a willingness to serve.
Volunteer times:
- Mondays, 8:00–11:00 a.m.
- Thursdays, 3:00–7:00 p.m.
- Saturdays, 8:00–11:00 a.m.

HABITAT HOUSE NEEDS
The family will soon be moving into their new home we recently completed and dedicated, and Nedra Cook is working with them to identify items they need. A few more items have been added to their list. Their outdoor needs, because of their huge yard include: riding lawnmower, weed eater, wheelbarrow and long handled tools. Other items needed include: cordless vacuum cleaner for hard floors and carpet, set of non-stick pots and pans, corning ware and 2 extra long twin beds. If you or your group would like to purchase or donate to the cost of procuring these items, please contact Nedra Cook at Nedra.Cook@gmail.com.

KNOX JUSTICE AT COMMUNITY CARE NIGHT

Marjorie will share how Justice Knox brings congregations and community organizations together to listen, research, and take action on important needs in Knoxville.
