HELP MAKE SOUP MIX
On Sunday, March 16, there won't be any children or student activities during the Sunday School hour. While many will be out of town during spring break, there will still be some here. So, we've decided it would be a good time to make our Five Bean Soup mix to give to area food pantries. Come join us at 10 am in the gym... families, individuals and all ages welcome!
OUR GIVING MADE A DIFFERENCE
When Hurricane Helene hit at the end of September, we knew the need would be great. Our church's response in making donations of items and money, delivering items, and working at distribution centers and homes was phenomenal. One of the distribution/relief centers we sent items to was in Swannanoa, North Carolina, near Asheville. We were made aware of them through Concord United member Pete Lloyd whose brother lives close to the center. They let us know of specific items they were in need of and we supplied two truckloads from your donations and items we got from our thrift store. Click HERE to read the letter of appreciation we received from them this week. We really did make a difference in many lives!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT OF SOUPER BOWL OF CARING 2025
The United Methodist Men are grateful for the generosity of the congregation in this year’s Souper Bowl of Caring collection. You donated a record $3898 to bring our 19-year total to $39,261. This money will be distributed evenly to four organizations that feed the hungry: Wesley House Community Center Pantry, Society of St Andrew, the Love Kitchen, and Mobile Meals.
