PREPARING YOUR HEART FOR CHRISTMAS

This Advent season, we invite you to embark on a meaningful journey with us as we explore the places of Jesus' birth. Our series, On the Way to Bethlehem, will guide us through the historical and spiritual significance of key locations such as Rome, Jerusalem, Nazareth, and Bethlehem. Along the way, we will encounter the essential characters who played pivotal roles in the Christmas story.

Accompanying our sermon series, we are offering a study based on Rob Fuquay's book On the Way to Bethlehem. This book will be used in several of our church's small groups during the Advent season. You can purchase your own copy for just $10 at the Welcome Desk, located between the Worship Center and Sanctuary. Additionally, an eBook version is available on Amazon.

We encourage you to join one of our small groups for this five-week Advent study, where participants will have the opportunity to engage in deep discussions about the historical context and spiritual truths of the season. Some groups will also offer optional video sessions to supplement and enrich the study.

Sunday Morning Small Groups (10:00 - 10:50am):

Monday @ 11:30am:

Join us as we journey together through the places and people of Christmas. We look forward to seeing you in a group this Advent season!

Deeply Rooted Advent Study: Exploring the Prophecies of Jesus' Birth

This Advent season, we invite you to join us for a meaningful and enriching study, Deeply Rooted, where we will explore the prophecies surrounding the birth of Jesus. Over three weeks, we will dive into key passages from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, connecting them with powerful Old Testament texts from 2 Samuel and Isaiah. This study will offer a deeper understanding of how these prophecies are fulfilled in the birth of Christ.

Deeply Rooted will meet on December 4, 11, and 18 from 10:00–11:30am in the Worship Center classroom. All study materials will be provided in a binder, making it easy to engage and reflect on the Scriptures throughout the study.

LeighAnna Colgrove will be leading this group, guiding us through a thoughtful and reflective time as we prepare our hearts for the Christmas season. We encourage you to register and join us for this transformative Advent study. Visit ConcordUnited.org/events to sign up today!
