FOOD PANTRY – Holiday Food Baskets

Cranberry Sauce (850), Yams (28 oz cans) (950), Brown Sugar (850). We need many donations of these three items to meet our goal. See our goal numbers in parenthesis. Additionally, we’re collecting: Cake Mix & Icing, Stuffing Mix, Turkey Gravy Mix, Green Beans, Boxed Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable Oil, and Reusable Shopping Bags. Because the need for food is so great, we are expanding our collection beyond our Holiday items. We suggest easy to prepare items: canned soup, canned vegetables, canned meat, cereal (no sugar added), macaroni and cheese, pasta, canned spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, canned beans, dry beans, rice, canned fruit, boxed potatoes, jelly (plastic squeeze bottles), pancake mix, syrup (plastic bottles) or any shelf stable food you would like to provide.

ADULT MINISTRY

DEEPLY ROOTED _ ADVENT OPTIONS

Want to grow in how you study God’s Word? As we prepare for the Advent season, we’re offering two unique spaces to engage the Bible - each centered on helping you hear God’s voice and follow Him more fully. Whether you’re just beginning or already familiar with the inductive Bible study method, there’s a place for you.

Wednesdays, 7-8:00pm, November 5th – December 10th (no meeting November 26th)

·                    Deeply Rooted: Inductive Foundations – An entry point for those new to the inductive method, offering spiritually rich tools to observe, interpret, and apply God’s word with confidence. Click here to learn more: Deeply Rooted Foundations - Advent 2025 Registration

Wednesdays, 10-11:30am, November 12th – December 10th (no meeting November 26th)

·                    Deeply Rooted: Inductive Practice – For those who have practiced the inductive method before, this group helps you deepen your practice and equips you to guide others. This Advent, we do a deep dive into Luke 1 and 2. Click here to learn more: Deeply Rooted Practice - Advent 2025 Registration

Choose the group that best fits where you are in your journey. Both are grounded in the belief that God’s Word transforms us—and equips us to bear fruit.

CONCORD COMMUNITY NIGHT (CCN) - Coming Home Series

Our series continues on the parable about The Prodigal Son on Wednesday, November 12. Rev. Glenna Manning shares with us the perspective of older son in the parable during worship from 6:30-7:00. Free meal from 5:30-6:20. Children and student activities take place on Wednesday nights as well. Come home with us.  MENU: Chicken & Rice Casserole

Sunday, November 23 is our 160th Anniversary and groundbreaking for the new Kids and Preschool Wing! We will have only two services that day: a 9 AM Traditional Service and an 11 AM Contemporary Service. Crescendo and Youth Choir will be leading worship by singing together at 11AM.

During the 10 AM Sunday School hour, enjoy a reception in the church gym and learn more about our church’s history. Then, at 12:15 PM, we’ll gather outside to break ground on the new building together.
