SERVING OTHERS

BED BUILD – Next Step

Thanks to all the folks that came out on a beautiful (but very hot!) day this past Saturday to help build 52 beds for area children that don't have a bed to sleep in. We really appreciate all the help! But newly built beds serve no purpose until they’re delivered. As exciting and fun as building bunks can be, giving beds to kids is the end goal. Volunteers who help deliver beds see first-hand the direct impact their efforts have on a kid’s life. For some, it will be the first time they’ve ever slept in a bed of their own. Missions is looking for several volunteers to form teams to help with the bed deliveries. We have the truck and the tools necessary to put them together. If you're interested in participating in this very rewarding ministry, please email Missions@concordunited.org or call Jane Currin at 865-288-7427.

Our store helps support our community with keeping prices low on items people need, and we couldn't do it without all of our volunteers.
