SERVING OTHERS

TOY COLLECTION FOR CHILDREN OF MORGAN AND SCOTT COUNTIES - The children of Morgan and Scott counties have very little. The United Women in Faith are sponsoring a Christmas toy drive to help make the season more joyful for them. you can help by donating NEW toys (retail value less than $25) for children ages birth-18yrs. Cash and all size batteries will also help. NO candy. Donations can be dropped off on the silver racks located around the church until December 1.

NOVEMBER FOOD PANTRY LIST - Coffee (1lb. ground), Tea (24-48 bags), Jelly (plastic bottle 20 oz), Syrup (plastic bottle 24 oz), Dish Soap (18-28 oz)


HELP NEEDED - Missions is going to need a lot of help in November! If you would be willing to help provide baked goods, man our table at the craft fair, serve breakfast on November 19 or sell items at the Shoppes of Concord, please go to ConcordUnited.org/events to sign up!

ADULT MINISTRY

ATTENTION YOUNG ADULTS - Join us for a “Friendsgiving” party this Tuesday night at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Bring friends, significant others, and anyone who might like to come. All are welcome, but please RSVP Mike Stallings by this Sunday if you plan on coming. 


ADVENT BOOK STUDY - This Advent, our sermon series will be accompanied by a study in several of our church small groups covering Rachel Bill’s book An Unlikely Advent: Extraordinary People of the Christmas Story. Books are available to purchase for $10/each at the Welcome Desk located between the Worship Center and Sanctuary, with an ebook option also available online. Journey with us through the telling of the Christmas story as we prepare for the birth of our Savior, seeking the unlikely in the story of Jesus and in our stories too.  


We encourage you to join one of the following small groups as they participate in the four-week Advent study and may include optional video sessions enhanced by the book to supplement and deepen discussions.

DEEPLY ROOTED: STUDY OF JESUS" BIRTH STORIES - Dive into the birth stories of Jesus as found in Matthew, Luke, and John through our Deeply Rooted study of the bible. This group meets Wednesdays from 11:00-12:30 in the Worship Center Classroom. November 29, December 6 and 13. Pastor Brooke and LeighAnna Colgrove lead this group. PRAYER BREAKFAST - Join us for the prayer breakfast in the Worship Center.at 10am. All ages welcome! Free breakfast followed by a short service. There will be no k-5th Sunday school. Nursery will be open during this time for the littles birth - preK


FAMILY SERVICE - Join us for a family service in the Worship Center at 11am. The Crescendo kids will sing to celebrate the Children's Ministry here at Concord. There is no Kids worship. The nursery will still be open for normal Sunday schedule.


WEDNESDAY NIGHTS - No activities on the 22
