Trunk or Treat

It's Not Too Late to Provide A Trunk or Donate Candy!

October 27 - 3-5PM - West Parking Lot

Families, small groups and friends are needed to decorate car trunks!!! Please consider being a part of this large community event. Last year we had 300 children attend and we had more than 800 total guests. In order to accommodate all of the children, we need 80 decorated trunks for them to trick or treat from. Be sure and pick up an invite to share with your neighbors and friends. They are available at the Information Desk as well as throughout the church.

You are needed to help make this a fun and safe event for everyone.Click here to sign up.

Make Plans to Attend! Immediately after 11am worship on October 27, we will be hosting a reception for our New Building. You will get to see the most updated renderings, talk to members of the building team, architects, contractors, and ministry leaders about the design of the building and the difference it will make for our church and community. And, of course, we will have some delicious snacks. Please save the date.

SERVING OTHERS

APPLE CROP DROPJoin us for our upcoming Apple Crop Drop on Friday, November 1, and Saturday, November 2! Gather your family and friends to help us bag apples for the community. We’ll kick things off at 5:15 PM on Friday, after the apples arrive at 5 PM. Please bring your flashlights or headlamps, as extra lighting will be useful even with the parking lot lights on. This time, we’re also trying out a new idea: if you have a luggage scale, please bring it along to help weigh the bags! We'll start again on Saturday at 8:30 AM. We can’t wait to see you there!

FALL FUN WITH YOUR CHURCH FAMILY - Be sure to join us at Harvest Camp for all the fun of making apple butter in the hills of Virginia Wednesday, November 6– Sunday, November 10! This is Mission's major fund raiser to help finance all our mission projects and we can use all the help we can get! Join us for the whole event or just the weekend. Individuals, couples or families are welcome! Click here for more info and to register by October 27!

HELP NEEDED - Missions will soon be selling their freshly made apple butter and applesauce! Be sure to get yours at the Craft Fair on Saturday, November 16 from 9AM to 2PM or at the Shoppes of Concord on Sunday, November 17, between 9:30 and 12:30. We really need folks to work at both the Craft Fair and Shoppes with set up and selling items and also to bring baked goods for us to sell. Please go to concordunited.org/events to sign up to work and email missions at missions@concordunited.org and let us know what you’re planning to bake and bring.
