If you would like to help fund this project, we would greatly appreciate it. You can "purchase" a bucket for $50 or half a bucket for $25. This will pay for the food (canned chicken, sugar, flour, rice, dried beans, dry milk, vegetable oil and green tea bags), bucket, lid, and shipping. You can give online or with a check. Click here to donate.

MAY FOOD PANTRY LIST - Jelly – plastic bottles, Syrup – plastic bottles, Dish soap, Boxed potatoes, Boxed meals, ie Hamburger helper.

HELP BUILD A HABITAT HOUSE - We’ve begun construction on our 23rd Habitat House in Hope Haven south of Loudon. GROWING IN FAITH

ADULT MINISTRY

GROW IN FAITH WITH US! Join us this summer as we continue to grow in faith. Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00 beginning May 30th is our “Deeply Rooted” study, focusing on reading Paul’s writings inductively. Children’s programming and childcare are available during this time. Sundays from 10:00-10:50 in the Fellowship Hall we will study the character of God through our “Surprised by God” study. If you are looking for a group to connect with, check out one of these options. For more information, check out ConcordUnited.org/events or contact Pastor Brooke at bhartman@concordunited.org.

MEN'S GROUP GATHERINGS FOR MAY - Men of all ages, join us for a place to connect, learn about God and discuss issues confronting men. Our May gatherings are May 7 in the gym and May 21 in the Worship Center. Both gatherings are at 5:00. Meal is provided. Any questions, please contact Chas Means at charlesmeans0000@yahoo.com.

WRITE A SUMMER DEVOTIONAL - For our "Surprised by God" devotionals this summer, writers choose a scripture based on weekly topic about the character of God. Now is a great time for you to try out this way of sharing your faith. Email Brooke Hartman at devotionals@concordunited.org for details on how to get started!

CHILDREN

Come learn about Jesus healing a man's hand. One Sabbath day, Jesus sees a man with a deformed hand. He boldly calls the man up in front of everyone to heal him, even though the religious leaders consider healing “work”—forbidden on the Sabbath. Jesus boldly defends his actions as he heals the man (Mark 3:1-6).
