Sharing Christ. Serving Others. Growing in Faith

MISSION SUNDAY

Sunday, January 22

On Sunday, January 22, we will celebrate Mission Sunday. Your support for and participation in mission ministry over the last year has benefited our neighbors here, near and far away. As part of the celebration, we will be collecting the Annual Mission Fund offering which keeps us sharing, serving and growing. This funding is used to support the ongoing mission ministry of Concord United. While you can make a donation at any time, this is the time of year we are asking for donations. Click here to give.

SERVING OTHERS

GUATEMALA MISSION TRIP

INFORMATION MEETING

Tuesday, January 24 - 6:30PM

Concord United is putting together Mission team to travel to Guatemala in July 2023. Adults and young people from 9th grade and up are welcome. Concord Untied has made three trips to the highland region of Guatemala where our primary focus was building indoor cooking stoves. Most homes in rural areas have open-pit fires for cooking and heating. The stoves not only improves the health of the communities but also gives women more time for developing income as well as decreasing deforestation.

More info our host Highland Support Project and their programs can be found at highlandsupportproject.org. We invited you to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, January 24 at 6:30 pm in Room E-110. Anyone interested in joining the team should contact Tami Bland at [email protected] or Jane Currin at [email protected] and plan to attend the meeting.
