Graduate Medical Education
Emergency Medicine residents improve ultrasound skills and diagnostic accuracy.
Interprofessional Education
Fourth year students from the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy simulated cardiac emergencies.
Interprofessional Collaboration
Departments of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Nursing, and Perfusion practiced teamwork using a cardiopulmonary bypass simulation.

Working with OPS
Omaha Public Schools partnered with UNMC to develop a plan for COVID-19 testing in the classroom. The iEXCEL production team created an instructional video to help students and their families understand testing procedures and the importance of this pilot program.


VRIA Graduation
Congratulations to the second cohort of graduates from the iEXCEL Virtual Reality Innovation Academy (VRIA)! This program provided students with theoretical and practical knowledge for successful careers in 3D content creation.



iEXCEL at Infotec 2020
Attended by over 400 participants from across the globe, Dr. Pamela Boyers' keynote at Infotec 2020 showcased innovative technologies and their applications within health care.
