TIG-Driven Roundtable Discussions Planned for SBC North America

Riding the wave of sports betting success, many states now are looking to add iGaming to their mix, but this convergence is hardly a done deal. On Wednesday, July 13, join The Innovation Group (TIG) in New Jersey at SBC North America for a unique, roundtable-driven program called iGaming In Focus – Structuring Legislation & Managing Regulation Within the State. During the session, attendees will learn and engage with fellow stakeholders through expert-driven discussions looking at issues and trends surrounding Technology, Responsible Gaming, Commercial Market Structure, and Tribal iGaming. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from the experience of those already operational in the States, and identify strategies to advance legislation and regulatory challenges to consider in their own rules making process. The Innovation Group is working to field an impressive lineup of expert moderators now. Stay tuned for more details and register today for SBC North America – Early Bird pricing ends next week on May 31.

Updates and Opportunities

Throughout The Innovation Group’s history, we have helped our clients look at numerous gaming development opportunities in the Caribbean. Interestingly, many of these developments have yet to come to fruition and when compared to our work in the domestic U.S., there is a vast difference in the ratio of that outcome. There are many reasons why gaming-related development in the Caribbean, especially from U.S.-based operators and developers, has remained minimal – everything from natural disasters to funding issues for emerging markets. Perhaps the most common reason is that many of our clients simply had higher priorities in their development pipelines. The tide may be turning, however, as a confluence of trends makes us consider whether the Caribbean is the next, great, land-based opportunity for the gaming industry.
