Forward Movement Offers Daily Prayers

In these times intentionally making space in our daily routine for God – and ourselves – can be difficult. Forward Movement has a long history of helping disciples find sacred time and space to follow Jesus and the Lay of Love. They have been working on innovative ways to help you stay grounded and connected.

Podcasts to support our prayer and spiritual life, including a Forward Day by Day Podcast, A Morning at the Office, An Evening Prayer, Daily Prayer, The ChurchNext Podcast, and The Good Book Club Podcast are available at www.forwardmovement.org/podcasts
Forward Day by Day is also available as a smartphone app for iOS and Android. Visit www.forwardmovement.org/prayer to join a supportive online community of disciples discussing the days devotion. Both the website and app include the daily reflections and the Daily Office with Morning, Noonday, and Evening Prayer, plus Compline posted each day.

Did you know that you can now ask Alexa to “Open Episcopal Prayer” and, depending on the time of day, either a morning or evening prayer podcase will begin automatically. Google assistant users can say “Talk to Episcopal Prayer”.

Community Food Drive Through

Due to Covid-19 Grace parishioners are not able to drop food for KirkCare in the hunger barrel in the parish hall.

Amigos Food Truck will be at the Kirkwood High School Dougherty Ferry Parking Lot on Saturday, August 1 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Drop off canned food donations and grab dinner at Amigos Food Truck.

Pay what you can for the Amigos Food and all proceeds and canned food donations will be donated to Kirk Care and LifeWise, an St. Louis organization focused on equal opportunities and economic wellbeing for all.

Social Distanced, of course!
And don't forget your mask!

KirkCare thanks the Grace Church family for their continuing support!

The need is great.
A bout our parish family…

The parish extends their sympathies to Bill and Jane Pohlman . Their daughter, Nancy Simpson died this week. Give rest, O Christ, to your servant Nancy with your saints, where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.

Todd or the parish office as soon as possible in order to secure the ministrations of the church.

For a pastoral need you may call/text Fr. Todd at 314-365-1964. He will also continue to be available for individual and family face-to-face pastoral/spiritual care, both in his office or in your home. Please contact him for an appointment.
