Marketing Webinars: Google for Nonprofits Ad Grants
|
|
The Google for Nonprofits Ad Grant is a new marketing tool available to all SCORE chapters. With the free $10,000/month in advertising credit that the Google Ad Grant provides, chapters can run campaigns within Google search results through text ads.
Listed below is a three-part webinar series that reviews how to apply for a Google for Nonprofits account, how to create and optimize Google ad campaigns, and online marketing strategy to increase engagement. The recordings and presentation slides can be found on the Marketing Webinars page on the Support Center.

All chapters currently have access to a free premium VolunteerMatch account funded through SCORE HQ. With a premium account, chapters have access to the full suite of recruitment tools that basic accounts do not have. Such as:
-
The One-Click Reposting Tool – repost volunteer opportunities to keep them at the top of the search results.
-
Greeting Manager – automatically send a customized email to those who express interest in volunteering with your chapter.
-
Reports – pull reports to see how many views and connections an opportunity has received.
-
Copy Opportunities – copy opportunities to streamline the creation of new ones.
SCORE HQ will continue to provide all chapters with a premium VolunteerMatch account into FY22, and we are currently in the process of renewing our agreement. If your chapter receives any emails from VolunteerMatch about renewing your membership, please disregard them.
If you have any questions regarding your chapter's VolunteerMatch account or how to access it, please email marketing@score.org.

SCORE has issued a nationwide call for volunteers to serve our diverse and growing client base. This multi-tiered outreach campaign includes a "Volunteers Wanted" article distributed widely to increase SCORE volunteer applications for a variety of opportunities, in conjunction with extensive media outreach to national news desks, as well as radio and TV interviews featuring SCORE mentors and client success stories. Check out an example of the article here: " Rebuilding Small Businesses: Volunteers Wanted."
Another great SCORE success story about a client and mechanical engineer, Jason Saul, who worked with SCORE to launch a conveyor business in Quakertown, Pa. He credits SCORE Bucks County volunteer mentors Wayne King and Tony Moore with helping him create a value proposition to set his company apart from competitors. Top Resources on SCORE.org
|
|
The Top Resources on SCORE.org document lists the top 25 workshops, resources, and keywords on the national website. This document is updated monthly. We suggest bookmarking it for future reference.
Knowing what the most frequently viewed workshops and resources are on the national site can help you better understand what topics and content business owners are looking for. Your chapter can then take this data and use it to create localized resources around those topics to increase your chapter's website traffic and workshop attendance.
