iSOCRATES Announces Headquarters Relocation to St. Petersburg
at Inaugural Digital First Friday

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (January 29, 2019) - iSOCRATES, the global leader in programmatic media and marketing planning and execution, announced that the company will relocate its headquarters from Connecticut to St. Petersburg and expects to create 50 new jobs over the next five years.

"I am incredibly excited for the iSOCRATES expansion here in the Sunshine City," said St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman. "Everything that is happening with this innovative data analytics company is a shining example of our Grow Smarter strategy working, and working well. This is a company that is doing well, investing in our community, and has a worldwide reach. I couldn't be more pleased to welcome their expansion in our great city, and I thank our partners in the Pinellas County Economic Development office, and all our Economic Development colleagues, for making this possible."

iSOCRATES began operations here recently, starting in St. Petersburg's Rising Tide co-working space, located downtown at 433 Central Avenue. The company's current roster of global clients includes CBS, News Corp, Entercom, The Economist and Zeta Global. The iSOCRATES senior team worked closely with the City of St. Petersburg's Economic and Workforce Development Department, the St. Petersburg Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Pinellas County Economic Development, and Enterprise Florida.

"With our global headquarters expansion, we expect to hire 10 employees here by the end of 2019 and eventually grow our U.S. staff to a team of at least 50," said William A. ("Bill") Lederer, Chairman and CEO of iSOCRATES. "We believe Tampa Bay - and St. Petersburg, in particular - is the perfect environment for our growing, innovative digital company.

"We're very pleased to welcome the iSOCRATES team to Pinellas County," said Commissioner Karen Seel, Chair of the 2019 Pinellas Board of County Commissioners. "The digital media industry continues to grow in our community, and we're working actively to facilitate this sector's expansion."

To celebrate this announcement, iSOCRATES is kicking off Digital First Fridays, a new Meetup series in downtown St. Petersburg. This event brings together digerati to share, learn, discuss and network in the burgeoning data analytics, digital media and marketing, and technology professions in Pinellas County. The first of the series will be held on February 1, 2019, at Rising Tide and will feature Mayor Rick Kriseman, Pinellas County Commission Chair Karen Seel and the digital marketing heads of the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning.

"It is encouraging to see that our EDC efforts are coming to fruition - that we are welcoming another incredibly innovative company to St. Pete," David R. Punzak, 2018 Chairman of the St. Petersburg EDC said . "The EDC is fully committed to supporting and fostering the future growth of iSOCRATES here in our town."
