Please join Rev. Lise and others for Conversations about Race on Sundays, May 5, 12 and 19 at 7 pm in the Fogg Parlor. Topics for discussion include white privilege, white fragility and inclusion.

Our next Community Dinner will be Wednesday, May 8. Join us for our monthly FREE Community Dinner in the Parish Hall from 5:00 - 6:20 pm. This month our menu includes lasagna, salad, bread and brownies. Bring your family and/or your friends. Delicious food, fresh flowers, fellowship with both our church members and many from the wider South Shore community - no reservations needed - and we usually serve 65 to 90 guests. Come just to enjoy the meal or, if you want to help, we can still use one more pan of brownies (contact Donna Wilson). Or join us to help transform the Parish Hall at 9:30 am on May 8 or help serve and clean up during the dinner (contact Marcia Babcock).

“Great Norwell Bake-Off" at FPNUU during SummerFest on Saturday, June 1 at 1-4 pm. We’re awaiting final approval from the Board of Health, but the SummerFest organizers have been extremely supportive. Please see Mandy Metzger to sign up to help (we’ll need judges and help for set up/clean up). We’re planning categories: breads, pies, cakes and cookies/bars.

Journals belonging to Helen Fogg were recently given to the church for our archives. They are being transcribed by Sue Robinson and finished ones have been posted on the Helen Fogg Service Committee's web page . Additional journals will be added as completed. Eventually the original journals and supporting material will be housed in the Fogg Parlor and available for study.

For more information on any of the events at the James, please contact them directly at 781-659-7100 or visit their website.
