CARING CORNER

We are happy to report that Maddy Farrar is home, and would enjoy visitors.

Our thoughts are with Pearl Jayko who spent Thanksgiving week at South Shore Hospital. Cards and calls are appreciated.

Patty Crumley would also appreciate our help as she faces testing and treatment over the next few months. She will be in need of transport to and from Dana-Farber at South Shore Hospital. If you can help, please speak to Sue Robinson.
ANNOUNCEMENTS

You are invited to join our holiday Multigenerational Choir! We will rehearse right after Church School, December 2 and December 9 at 11 -11:15. Our final rehearsal will be held at 9 am, before church on December 16, which is the morning we will perform our music for our Multigenerational R.E. Service. Please speak to Music Director, Gingy Grimes, or Marie Miller, Music Committee Chair, if you are interested.

Kick your holidays off with a bang by joining us on Friday, December 7, at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall for FPN’s annual Women’s Group Christmas/Holiday shindig/potluck/Yankee swap. All FPN women are invited.
Please bring:

  • A gift (unwrapped) for the New England Wildlife Center (check out their wish list)
  • Something wrapped to contribute to the Yankee Swap ($10-15 limit on new items; NO limit on items being rehomed. More info available once you reply.)
RSVP to Kerry Ouellet.

If you have signed up to provide a gift for a foster child this year, please remember that they should be dropped off at the church no later than 11 am on Sunday, December 9. If you have questions or wont be able to get your gift to the church, please contact Betsy Gordon at 781.659.4745 or via email.

Christmas Eve poinsettias, which will decorate our Meetinghouse, can be ordered during Sunday Coffee Hours on December 2, 9 and 16 for our Christmas Eve services. Please see Marie Miller to order red, pink, or white poinsettia plants, which you may take home after the Christmas Eve service. The cost of each poinsettia plant is $6. Checks, made payable to First Parish of Norwell, or cash, will be gratefully accepted as payment.
